liugtou while Mi-s. BUI Harrington
of Erwin poured punch. Nuts and
mints were also on the table.
Goodbyes were said to Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Ennis ol Erwin.

Buried Today
Funeral services for Hoke Ran
som Gulley, 53, who drowned Tues- I
day in a pond near his home on
Raleigh, Rt. 3, were conducted to j
day at 3 p. m; at New Be hel Bap
tist Church by the Rev, John M.
Pollack, pastor. Burial was in the |
church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. No- {
vie Stancil Gulley; a daughter, Mrs.
S. W. Maynard of Maryland; two j
sisters, Mrs. W. E. Simpkins of
Raleigh, Rt. 3, and Mrs. P. P. Perry
of Raleigh; three brothers, Otis J. j
of Benson, Rt 1, Percy R. of Gar- j
ner, Rt. 1. and Milton A. of Raleigh;
and two grandchildren.
