During a social period several games of bingo were enjoyed and refreshments passed. Emeralds To Play At Dinner, Dance The Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. of Fayetteville is sponsoring a din ner-dance tonight to honor the girls vying for the title of Miss Erwin. The affair will begin at 7:00 at Chicora Country Club. More than a hundred guests are expected to attend. The Emeralds, a pouplar Smith field Combo, will play for the dance. • _ Trick 'N Trump Club Meets At Godwin Home Mrs. Woody Myers and Mrs. Nancy Thomas were guests of Mrs. Billy Godwin Thursday night when she feted members of the Trick ’n Trump Bridge Club. Mrs. Mack Hamitlon captured high, Mrs. Willie Biggs was sec ond high and Mrs. Fred Alexan der was low. Mrs. Thomas tallied guest high. Completing the tables were Mrs. George Carroll. Mrs. Bill Terrell, Mrs. Bill Corbin. During the evening apple dump lings with whipped cream and cof fee were served. Earlier fritos and Cokes were passed. Brownies, cheese sandwiches and candy were passed during play with Cokes. Later the group enjoyed chocolate pie with chicken salad puffs, salted pecans apd coffee. Mickey Warren | Feted At Party Mickey Warren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Warren of Erwin, ce i lebrated his sixth birthday with a party last Saturday. The party was held at the Erwin Recreation Center. The group enjoyed playing gam es during the afternoon after which ice cream and cake, potato chips, candy and soft drinks were served. The children received party horns and balloons a* favors.
