The Methodist, scoring the win ning run in the bottom off the 7th inning, collected five h ts while Advent had six. It was ian excel lent defensive game py both teams, spokesmen said. Leading hitters for the Metho dists were L-. Smith, G. Stewart end G; Joseph, 1 for 2. Advent was led by D. Turnage and W. Vann, 2 for 3. Antioch-Pleasant Grove won by two points over the Baptists in the first game of the evening. J. Starling, 4 for 4, J. Pinto, 2 for 2, and D. By$d ,3 for 4 led the winners while D. Allen had 2 for 3 for the Baptists. The Jaycees downed East Erwjn by a wide margin, 14 to 4. D. Pol lard had 3 for 5 and J. McDonald 2 for 4 for the JC'c and East Er win was led by D. McGee and J.
