Faye Hawley Plans c Sept. 5 Wedding Miss Faye Hawley and William L. McKee will be married in a ceremony Saturday .September 5, at 6:00 at the home ol Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Williford on Route Dunn. Rev. C. Gary Long, pastor of Spring Branch Baptist Church, will hear the vows. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Oma Hawley of Dunn and the late Mr Hawley. Parents of the groom-elect are Mrs. William James McKee of Morganton and the late Mr. McKee. Miss Haw'.ey, a graduate of Mid way High School, is employed at Dorothea Diw Hospital in Raleigh end her fiance is an employee of the State Prison there. Miss Joyce Joyner of Raleigh will be the honor attendant and the groom’s best man will be Sam Jackson, also of Raleigh. Lynches Honored At Family Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Deleon Denning of Route 1, Benson, and Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Allen of Clinton were hosts recently at a family dinner honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lynch Jr. of Laurc-l, Miss. Mrs. Lynch is the former Miss Rena Allen, sister of Mrs. Den ning and Mr. Allen. The Benson Junior Order Hall was the scene of the barbecued chicken and pork dinner served by Junior Order personnel. The invocation was given by the Rev. Fred Fleasant. He, his wife, and their daughter were special guests. The afternoon program included special singing by Mon roe Allen and his daughters and granddaughters.
