MRS. THOMAS DREHER JR. ...She was Miss Lula Mae Hudson Miss Hudson Marries Thomas Dreher, Jr. . Sunday at 4 p.m., the sacred vows of marriage were spoken between Miss Lula Mae Hud son and Thomas Dreher. Jr. The ceremony took place at the St. Paul Baptist Church and was performed by Rev. Paul Drummond. .. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Hud son of 3901 Bardot Dr. The groom is the son of Thomas Dreher of 2117 Rozzells Ferry Road. ..Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore the traditional white wedding gown which featured a slightly turtle neck-line trimmed in lace. The lace continued down the front of the gown ending at the empire bodice. The sleeves were cathedral styled and were also trimmed in lace. Her headpiece was a chapel cap which featured a bow at the top. Her short chapel veiUMM attached to the bow^She bouquet of yellcSk and white carnations. .. Miss Lizzie Hudson, sister of the bride who served as maid of honor, wore a floor-length green gown. Her corsage was of carnations. ..Bridesmaids were Miss Polly Hudson, sister of the bride, and Miss Queen Esther McCulloueh. Thev wore floor length yellow gowns and also carried a bouquet of carna tions. ..Flower girl was Miss Sabrina Cassell. Ring bearer was Gerald Hudson. ..June McClinton served Mr. Dreher as best man. Ushers included Johnny Hicks and Connie Harry. .. For her daughter’s wedding. Mrs. Hudson chose a long pink gown. She wore matching accessories and her corsage was of carnations. . .The bride is a 1969 graduate of Second Ward High School. She is employed as a nurse’s assistant at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. The_ groom is a 1964 graduate of West Charlotte High School and is a supervisor for Inter state Graphics. ..A reception was given in honor of the couple at 601 Wooddrift Place. It was hosted by Mrs. Cetha Winchester, sister of the bride. . The couple chose Atlanta as their honeymoon spot.
