play is set in a school for
children with mental'pro
blems. Main characters are
David, who suffers from'
paranoia, and Lisa, who suf
fers from schizophrenia.
. .Seniors Rob Correll and Joy
Helms will play David and
Lisa, respectively. Dave Sur

..To ready themselves for
their parts, students spent- a
week in psychology classes
learning about emotions they
will display in the play.
..James Reach adapted the
play from a book by Theodore
Rubin. The play is based on
atrue story.

Little Indians”

Guild of Johnson C. Smith
University is presenting
Agatha Christie's three act
mystery play “Ten little
Indians" March 13. 14 at 8:15
p.m. and March 16 at 3 p.m. in
Biddle Auditorium on the
campus.
..The admission for the pro
duction is $1 for students and
)2 for adults. The production
of the play is by special ar
rangement with Samuel
French of New York City.
..The cast includes: Milton
Todd, as Cap. Lombard, Larry
Smith as Mr. Roger the butler.
Helen Council, as Vera the
Owen’s secretary and Phibe
Singleton, as Miss Brent house
guest.
..The play is fill with sus
pense, mystery and action.

der the direction of Mrs. H. S.
Rhedrick, Instructor of
Speech and Drama at The
University and Miss. Carolyn

secutive year. According to

ton. this makes him "the first
black man in Charlotte to

member” of the prestigeous
group of life insurance sales
men who write a million dol

ance in a year".
