Light refreshments were served following the meeting of the 18 year old club which originated in the University Park neighborhood. The sermon was delivered in a program sponsored by the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of the fraternity. Founders’ Day committee members were Ray Booton, Lloyd H. Davis, Dr. Robert H. Green, Robert Reeves, Raymond Rorie, Ber nard L. Brown, Dr. Charles H. James, Joseph Majors, William Malone, Marvin Rorie and Ronald Swann. Other members were Milton Smith, Donald Pearce, Harold Reeves, Titus Ledbetter, William M. Blakeney and Clyde A. Liggin. Liggin, chairman of the committee, praised the support the wives and sweet t hearts of his fraternity bro thers for their 100 per cent support of the program. “The inspiration and en- ' couragement the wives and sweethearts gave us was a potent factor in the over whelming success of our Founders Day program,” he said.
