Following a registration pe riod and devotional services led by Lawrence Brooks, as sociation vice president, three one hour workshops were held. These workshops were led by Fred Caldwell of the Charlotte Fire Department, and officer Ervin of the Police Department and association president Robert Watson gave a first aid presentation. A general ushers training session was held Saturday afternoon. This session was led by association education «Ommittee members. Forest Eaves discussed usher hand. signals -Mrs. Zora Smith dis cussed usher rules and Mrs. Jessie Richards discussed the usher manual. The session was moderated by Dr. J.B. Humphrey.
