Wade) who was recently in the city as Evangelist ai Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Rev. Wade began _^preaching in 1958. He was - pastored at Samaria Baptist Church of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Van Buren. Thompson has done. He listed the works that deserved special atten tion. The proclamation cited 25 years of service to the Char lotte community. He says his "ultimate goal is to become the best actor I can be and to keep working at what I do best and like best.” He added, “I hope to read and enrich the lives of many people through the medium of acting in live theater.” Turner continued, "My first love is comedy and serious drama, both classical and con temporary works, but I want to be well-rounded so 1 don't get labeled as a comedy actor, a serious drama actor, and so forth.” He says he. would like tc direct a musical someday even though he doesn't sing or dance.
