4 ; Missionary Society Installs New Officers • a CX1C1 : Post Staff Writer The Young Women’s Mis sionary Society of Clinton Cha pel -AME Zion Church, after being inactive for a number of yean, was rejuvenated and headed in a positive direction last Sunday night as newly elected officers and memben were installed by Women’s Home and Overseas Mission ary Society Secretary Maggie K. Beard Through diligent efforts by Mrs- Hattie W. Clark, Clinton Chapel’s Women’s Home and Overseas Missionary Society President, and church Pastor Revl Morgan W. Tann, the church now has an active 16-member chapter of the Young Women’s Missionary Society which began operation on October 12. Since October 12, the young women have served as hostess 'f the Charlotte District Mass Meeting held October 9, they visited an older member of the church at Broughton Hospital, Morganton, and sponsored the J.Ci:Smith University Gospel Choir in concert as their first fund-raising project. During the month of Decem ber ihey will give a Christmas Party for the children of Clin ton Chapel’s Day Care Center and visit rest homes and hos pitals to bring Christmas cheer to the sick.
