B,JMJhe Hidden Gospel - Part 11
Listen again to the Word.
"But the natural man (the lost
sinner) receiveth not the
things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually
discerned’’ (I Cor. 2:14) The
natural man, whether in the
pulpit or the world cannot
understand the things of the
Spirit of God. You cannot
understand Holy Spirit Con
viction because you are just a
natural man. Further, a natu
ral man is one who has never
been illuminated by the Holy
Spirit. Holy Spirit Conviction
is a great mystery to the
preachers here in North Caro
lina. I haven't found a preach
er in this state yet who under
stands Holy Spirit Conviction.
God never saves a sinner
apart from Holy Spirit Convic
tion. Now, you'll fly back at
the truth like a deacon here;
"All these people can’t be lost
like Bro. Little is saying."
Well, let me say this Bud, if
the Lord ever awakens you to
your lost condition it will scare
you to death to see just how
few are really saved. 1 don’t
have a preacher here who can
sit rlnu/n with mn nn>4 »«u.
about how God saves a hell
deserving sinner. You won’t
acknowledge that every soul
deserves to go to Hell Dut i u
tell you when you are going to
acknowledge it; when you
stand at the judgment bar of
God you’ll acknowledge it.
Listen again; "But blessed
are your eyes, for they see:
and your ears, for they hear.
For verily I say unto you, that
many prophets, and righteous
men have desired to see those
things which ye see, AND HA
VE NOT SEEN THEM; and
to hear those things WHICH
YE HEAR AND HAVE NOT
HEARD THEM (Matt. 13:16
17) There we see again the
hidden things of God, revealed
only to the children of God.
The Lord uttered that great
truth after giving the parable
of the sower. Someone asked
me one day; “Isn’t most of the
Bible in parables?” I replied;
“no, very little is written in
parables compared to the re
mainder of the Bible.” The
question is often asked why
did the Lord speak in para
bles. The answer almost one
hundred percent of the time is
this; “The Lord spoke in
parables to make it easier for
the people to understand.”
What about that answer? That
answer is one fo the biggest
jies out of hell! You listen to
Ci • v* i
—. ..
J. M. Little
my Diessea U)ra will you?
“And the disciples came, and
said unto Him (Christ), Why
speakest thou unto them (the
multitudes) in parables? He
answered and said unto them
(the disciples), Because it is
GIVEN UNTO YOU TO
KNOW THE MYSTERIES OF
THE KINGDOM OF HEAV
EN, BUT UNTO THEM IT IS
NOT GIVEN. (Matt. 13+lo
ll) Now, Bud, you had better
quit lying on the Lord Jesus
Christ. It was given only to the
elect (the disciples) to know
the mysteries of the kingdom
of heaven. The mysteries were
hidden from the multitudes in
the day of our Lord just as the
Gospel is hidden from the
multitudes in my day. I have
been setting forth how God
saves poor lost hell-deserving
sinners, and how Christ is
prescious to my heart but
you can’t see it. You see no
beauty in Christ. You see no
need of a Saviour. And you will
declare that I am running
things in the ground. The
reason you see no beauty in
Christ is because $ju are
blinded by Satan. Every soul
out of Christ is blind to true
spiritual things. Satan has put
your eyes out. The only way
you will ever see your need of
Christ is that the Lord will
give you seeing eyes. The only
way you will ever hear the
Gospel is that the Lord will
give you ears to hear. "Who
hath ears to hear, let him
hear.” (Matt. 13:9).
Many years ago when 1 read
Scriptures in the Word like
that I asked; “Doesn't every
body have ears-’” See how
ignorant I was. I thought the
reference was to physical
ears. Oh how far I was from
the truth.
Yes, the Gospel is hidden, it
is for the elect only. You can't
make God give it to you. God
is sovereign, you don't make
or influence God to do one
thing! You hear these preach
ers say; “We’ll do so and so
and then we’ll leave the rest
up to the Lord.” Preachers,
you don’t leave anything up to
my Lord! He is sovereign!
You listen to the sovereign
God of the unjverse my prea
chers. “And all the inhabi
lnr.tr. nf 1L-_At- -
--- HIV vai ill a I C I C^UICU
as NOTHING: and He doeth
according to HIS Will in the
army of heaven, and among
the inhabitants of the earth:
AND NONE CAN STAY HIS
HAND, or say unto Him,
WHAT DOEST THOU?”
(Dan. 4:35) Listen again; "I
have sworn by myself, the
word is gone out of my mouth
in rightousness, and shall not
return, That unto me every
knee shall bow, every tongue
shall swear.” Isa. 45:23 And
you are so blind as to think you
will do so and so and let the
Lord do the rest. What a bunch
of blind guides! My heavenly
Father is the Sovereign God of
this universe and does as He
pleases. But over the last one
hundred years and more, we
have had in the pulpits of
America, preachers who have
tried to dethrone God and put
ij[Jwn>on_the_tJ^on^Youjgrea_
chers have tried to take the
sword of justice out of the
hands of a sovereign God. But
I praise the Lord you cannot
overthrow the God I know.
The god of the average
pulpit in America today no
more resembles the God of the
Bible than a dim flickering
taper resembles a mid-day
July sun! I’ll start right here
in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The god of the pulpits of this
city is not the God of the Bible.
The God of the Bible, the
Christ of the Bible, the Holy
Spirit of the Bible, are not
known nor preached from the
pulpits of Charlotte, North
Carolina. He is hidden from
you, you don't know Him, if
you knew Him you would
preach Him.
When a soul flares up in
rebellion against the Gospel
God blinds that soul, "tAc
cording as it is written, God
hath given them the spirit of
slumber, eyes that they should
not see, and ears that they
should not hear;) unto this
day (Rom 11:8) You didn’t
know that God would blind you
did you?
Listen again; “...but the
election (elect) hath obtained
it, AND THE REST WERE
BLINDED (Rom. 11:7).
These messages we are
printing every week are for
the elect of God only. Every
one else is blinded to the truth.
My friend, what about you?
What will you do? You will
either be concerned about the
eternal destiny of your soul or
you will turn away and go to
hell. It’s repent and believe
the Gospel or be damned.
You’ll never get saved as long
as you are critical of God’s
servant. No sinner ever gets
saved calling God a liar.
May the Lord grant you
repentence is my prayer for
you. Turn to the Lord now
.before it is too late
