Wot V lo Air aun, Cotton Bowl Games CBS Sports’ post-season col legiate football coverage in cludes the Sun Bowl at El Paso, Texas, when Louisiana State University battles Stan ford University in a contest on Saturday, December 31 at 1:30 p.m. And, the Cotton Bowl foot ball classic, the nation’s num ber-one ranked collegiate po wer, where the University of Texas, unbeaten and untied, takes on "The Fighting Irish” of the University of Notre Dame, Monday, January 2 at 2 p.m. both on WBTV, Channel 3. In the Sun Bowl on New Year’s Eve, the Tigers of LSU, with eight victories in 11 out ings, take on the Cardinals of Stanford, also eight and three on the season, marking the 10th consecutive year of broadcasting the post-season classic by CBS Sports. And, the Texas Longhorns can lay claim to the mythical national championship if it can extend its unbeaten string to include the Cotton Bowl after capturing the Southwest Conference title. With the help of his grandmother, Mrs. Amie Hart, Nathan managed to graduate in special courses from Garinger High, at a time when there were no facilities for special training in Char lotte. These very personal stories prove that retarded children should not be pre-judged as to what levels of learning they can achieve.
