MRS. LARRY REDIC ...She was Miss Willie M. Stevenson Stevenson-Redic Vows Spoken Willie Michelle Stevenson was married to Larry Redic at 4 p.m. Christmas Eve in Old Zior AME Zion Church, with Rev. Robert Fetterson officia ting. Rev. James Baxter as sisted. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Stevenson of 2636 Orlando Ave. The pa rents of thégroonk&re'Mf. and Mrs. Jimmie Rédic who live at 709 Woodruff Place. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attended by maid of honor Denise Byers. Her other at tendants were Patricia Ste venson, Patricia Redic, Hattie Childs and Mabel Redic. The best man was Ronnie McLeod and the ushers were Jimmie Redic, Leon Redic, Gary Williams and John Thompson. Tausha Richard son was the flower girl and Gary Stevenson was the ring bearer. Organ music was provided by Chip Howell with solos by Jimmie Redic. A reception at the church immediately followed the ce remony. Mrs. Redic attended Central Piedmont Community College and is employed by North Carolina National Bank. Her husband is a graduate of Harding High and works with International Harvester. Miss Arlene Venila Fiddmont Will Marry Marvin Earl Sump§on Mrs. noy Brown ol 21V Saint Mark Street announce the engagement of her grand daughter, Arlene Venita Fidd mont to Marvin Earl Swimp son. The bride-elect is the daugh ter of the late Rev. and Mrs. James Elbert Fiddmont Jr. The groom to-be is the son ol Rev. and Mrs. Jart Swimpeon of Portsmouth, Virginia. Miss Fiddmont attended West Charlotte Senior High and was graduated from Win ston-Salem State University in 1975. She is employed as an airline stewardess for Pied mont Airlines. Mr Swimpeon graduated from Winston-Sa lem State University and is employed by the Chesapeake City Schools as a junior high Ite Ariam V. Plddnmrt ...Airline stewardess band director. The wedding will take place April B. 1978. Miss Hattie Λ. Tyson Is Bride Of Sheldon Rene Shipman Hattie Ann Tyson became the bride of Sheldon Rene Shipman January 7 at 3:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church. Mrs. Shipman is the daugh ter of Mrs. Eileen H. Davis, 1829 Jennings St. The groom's parents are Dr. and Mrs. F. George Shipman of Salisbury. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Ro bert L. Tyson Jr., Dr. J.B. Humphrey performed the ce remony, assisted by Rev. Wil liam White. Mrs. Martina Fronaberger of Rock Hill, S.C. was matron of honor and the bridesmaidi were Margaret Byrd, Jacci Kirksey, Zebria Neal, Marilyn Twitty, all of Charlotte; Rev. Carrie Hunter of Salisbury and Nadine Shipman of Wil mington. The best man was Kevin Smith of Greensboro and serv ing as ushers were Kelly Alexander, Gregory Reid, Kenny Simmons, Sam Young and Bernard Reeves of Char lotte; Rev. Gary Christopher, States ville; Rev. Fred Mas sey, Salisbury, Rickey Step henson, Durham; and Mau rice Shipman of Clarkton. Lea Maske was the flower girl and Jason Bryant, the ring bearer. Mrs. Anne Lutz provided organ music with solos by Cheryl Heard and Cora Pear son. A reception was given in the church fellowship hall by the bride's mother immediately \ MRS.
