As Sybil, a young girl whose first tender love feelings are complicated by dope addicti on, Ren add another facet to a fast-rising dramatic acting ca reer which has already seen her featured in the award-win ning mini-series, "Roots” on television and the hit comedy film, "Car Wash.” Ms. Woods first began to make a name for herself singing at age 9 in Portland. Mercy Lowers Outpatient Surgery Rates Mercy Hospital has lowered its charges for use of the operating room for out-patient surgical procedures. In effect, the new rates reduce the average cost per procedure from $95 to $50. "Because of the increasing volume in out-patient surg ery," explains hosptial Cont roller, Martin G. Moore, "we have been able to do more effective cost analysis and to adjust rates. We are continu ally looking for ways to reduce costs and hope that by lower ing these rates, we will make use of out-patient surgery even more economical for our patients." Since the majority of cases are completed in 20 minutes or less, the basic charge for use of a surgical suite is $50 for the first 20 minutes.
