Mr. Jones won both the Tony Award and Variety’s New York Drama 1 Critics Poll Award for his qprformance of Louis McHenry Howe in "Sun _rise at Campohella ”_To millions of American viewers, however, Mr. Jones whose television career has spanned 20 years and more than 300 productions is probably best known for his affectionately wry and witty characteriza tion of Judge Johnathan Dex ter on the CBS series “Phyllis.” Henry Jones (Frank) has the starring role of the senior executive at his office but low-man away from business, since he can’t And anything he needs in his house when he wants it, from a screwdriver to his wife, and can’t Ax anything that needs Axing even when he gets his hands w USE TA BE MY GIRL -0*Jays—: BOOGIE OOGIE OOGIE A Taste of Honey THE GROOVELINE Heatwave ’ TAKE ME TO THE NEXT PHASE Isley Brothers SHAME Evelyn “Champagne” King TOO MUCH, TOO LITTLE TOO LATE Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams YOU AND I Rick James CLOSE THE DOOR Teddy Pendergrass DUKEY STICK * George Duke RUNAWAY LOVE V 1_I- mi##_n DANCE ACROSS THE FLOOR Jimmy “Bo” Horn ANNIE MAE Natalie Cole STUFF LUCE THAT Quincy Jones SHADOW DANCING Andy Gibb DAYLIGHT AND DARK NESS —-Sesahey - LET’S GO ALL THE WAY Whispers LAST DANCE Donna Summers AIN’T NO SMOKE WITHOUl FIRE r**tT _ tape cits I 3138 South Try on 523-0266 TOP 20 45’i IN STOCK °nlJr 86' Each on tne screwdriver and Ins' wife. This is a role that starred Phil Silvers, ever memorable for his Sergeant Bilko portray als on TV, when “How the Other Half Loves" had its first New York presentation. Ann Gardner (Fiona) will be seen as his barely tolerant wife, and Anne Paul (Teresa) will have the role of an equally disorganized lady, who is married to a subordinate of the senior executive. James Rebhorn (Bob) will portray the subordinate, driven by a diet of peanut butter sand wiches, plus dust, dirt, and disorder in his home, to a secret tryst with his boss’ wife. It is the effort of this erring pair to explain on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday where they spent so much of g„ Wednesday evening white1 their respective spouses were left at home, that involves still another couple, to be Played— by Tom Bade and Lynn Wienke (William and Mary Detweiler) and sets the comedy spinning oo its merry way. While in most farces the fun stems from a too-quick and, often unjustified jealousy on the part of the husband, the comic point of "How The Other Half Loves" is sharpest in depicting the ready willing ness of Mr. Jones (Frank) to accept the various explana tions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Miss Gardner —(Fiona)—about—her—where about on the Wednesday night of her absence from home. Michael Heaton is the director guiding the fast paced slapstick action of “How The Other Half Loves.” IDi* \ The Poetl It's What's Happening! _ , J (■
