Prophet*s Column "Under Grace" uj Muii miuc The Lord is not slack con cerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Pet. 3:9). At this time our subject is; Under Grace-God is Not Will ing That Any Should Perish. This message is a sister mess age to the message we brought just recently on the subject; Under Judgment - He That Sitteth in the Heavens Shall Laugh. Practically every Arminian thinks II Pet. 3:9 and Ps. 2:4, and Prov. 1:26 are contradic tory Scriptures. Let me say this; no Scripture is contra dictory of another. All the Word of God is in harmony. The contradiction lies in your blind and depraved mind and heart. Then, as an'Arminian, you'll come back and say that the God of the Old Testament is not the God of the New Testament. Let me answer that argument with this Scrip tun; "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." (Mai. 3:6) Also listen to Heb 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever." What could be any plainer? What ignorance and blindness ιο say the God of the Old Testament is different from the God of the New Testa ment. Now, let's see how these Scriptures here in II Pet., Ps. 2, and Prov. 1 are in harmony. As we told you before, God has two ways in which He deals with all mankind; under judg ment, or under grace. As an Arminian, you'll keèp harping that God is not willing that any should perish, and that God is a God of love and would not send anybody to burn in Hell. Many easy believers use this Scripture to their own damna tion. Now you listen to me if you can. The key word in II Pet. 3:9 is "US-WARD".· "but is longsuffering to "us ward," not willing that any should perish, "... He didn ' t say longsuffering to the world, no. But to us-ward, meaning the elect. God is not willing that any elect should perish, and no elect will peristal Under Judg- ! ment, God sits in the Heavens and Laughs at rebellious non you see how these Scriptures harmonize? There is no con tradition! 1 was talking to a young man just recently who said; "then you are saying that only the elect will be saved?" I re plied, that's right, only the elect will be saved, Paul said; _ "chosen in Him (in Christ) before the foundation of the world." (Eph.l). inais π gut, onjy elect sinners will be saved, the Bible teach es a limited atonement! I went on to tell that young Jehovah , Witness that if the Bible S taught universal salvation, · then God would have to save the Devil and fallen angels, but God made no provision to save the Devil nor the fallen angels. So many of you, and every Arminian wants to take God as a God of mercy and not as a God of wrath. But before you can know God as a God of mercy, you must know Him as '* a God of wrath! When I was awakened to my loet condi tion, 1 didn't see God as love, but as wrath. I knew His wrath was burning against me as a hell deserving sinner. I was brought to see that I was condemned to die and justly so because I was in rebellion against a holy and righteous God. Have you ever seen that? If not, then you an not saved! No sinner is saved apart from Holy Spirit Conviction. The ministry has skipped over Holy Spirit Conviction today. ML Little _ ΟΓΟίΜ,ςίπη nf foill-. in I- ck»..U * without thoee sinners ever being awakened to their lost and undone condition as guilty hell deserving sinners. Have you ever seen that you deserve to go to hell? If not, then you are not saved. It means something to be saved. The greatest thing in all the world is just to know Christ as your Lord and your Saviour. Do you know Christ? Do you? Some of you say you are enjoying these messages, you can enjoy these messages and still not be saved. Has the truth ever gone home to your heart that you are a sinner? That you are lost and out of Christ? Has it? You can sit there and enjoy these truths we are setting forth from week to week and die and go to hell. When the Lord said that He was not willing that any should perish but that all was speaking of His elect only Now when you look at these Scriptures as we have ex pounded on them, you see the 'harmony. If you say that Christ died for everybody, head-count, and it is up to the sinner to believe on Christ, then you are throwing salva tion back in the hands of a dead and lifeless poor deprav ed child of Satan, a fallen creature. Let me hasten to say, he who goes astray on the TOTAL DEPRAVITY of man, goes astray on all other teach ings of the Word of God. That is why the multitudes of you disagree with the truth I set forth from week to week here You do not know man's totally depraved condition, therefore you do not know how to preach to sinners. You do not know the sinner's ruined and de praved state as a child of the Devil. All sinners are dead (Eph. 2:1). How can a dead man go to Christ, he can't A sinner in his natural state can no more desire Christ than a dead body out in the cemetery You preachers in the semin ary ( the cemetery ) don't know what I am talking about. You are the pastor of a great church, but you are a blind guide leading your church members to hell. Now you think on that. The reason you don't understand my mess ages is because you, my preacher friends are lost." I'm glad, and praise the Lord that before the founda tion of the world, He elected me to salvation in Christ. In time, the Holy Spirit gave me the Effectual Call and justi fied me in Christ (Horn. 8:30). Have you been called and justified'' When was the last time you told your people how the Lord saved you? I'll tell you something else, if you call these messages foolishness and embarrassing, it's because you are loet. You do not understand salvation by grace. If you are saved, whv haven't you and 1 fellowship in Christ? You say you are saved but you don't want to have anything to do with Bro. Little. My testimony reveals that ν ou are lost. A leading preacher in this community is put up to be saved. The last time I saw him he wouldn't hardly talk to me and very soon got out of my presence. Do you know Christ? The Lord is not willing that any of His elect shall perish and none shall. Praise the Lord. Are you one of the elect? Do you long to know Chrisf That's a good sign you are one of the elect. What is your standing before the Lord, friend? How will you fare? Real Estate Answer Box Closing Coet-FHA & VA BY : ALLON THOMPSON CBR-NCAR-NAR Closing costs are those fees paid in connection with the transfer of property from seller to ί® (tef***ned ^ andsize of the loan. Closing casts are negotiable items as either the buyer or the seller can legally pay them. A breakdown of closing costs will show that the attorney's fees for doing the title search and closing the loan and the loan origination fee paid to the mortgage company make up the biggest part. Each of these costs about 1 percent of the amount of the loan (for example: $30,000 loan amount $300 legal fee & $300 loan fee approximately). Other costs cover the survey of the property being purchased, the appraised, title insurance to protect buyers rights to the property, the appraisal fee, credit report, recording fee to have the deed put on record, the credit report on the buyer, and any notary fees. This group of costs averages approximately 1 percent of loan amount also, for a combined approximate cost of 3 percent of the loan amount for closing costs. . Both buyer and seller should fully be aware of these costs; exactly how much they are and who is expected to pay each of them at the loan settlement. Ask for a full explanation before entering any purchase or sale contract. It will lessen the chance for any surprises later. Other costs involved in closing a loan are the pre-paid items (discussed in a previous answer box), the discount points paid by the seller, which will be covered later, and any pro-ration of taxes, rents, etc. All these costs are detailed exactly on a closing statement and should be explained fully at the time of settlement.
