Cecelia Robinson will repre
sent East Mecklenburg High
School in the 32nd annual
Carolinas’ Carrousel Parade
and festivities to be held here
in Charlotte on Thanksgiving
Day.
Miss Robinson will be com
peting with thirty or more
other princesses for the Caro
linas’ Carrousel Queen's
Crown.
The competition, sponsored
by Carolinas’ Carrousel Inc.
will feature a Queen's lunch
eon on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at
11:45 a m in the Charlotte
Civic Center.
The crowning of the new
queen will take place during a
semi-formal pageant and Cor
onation Dance scheduled for
Wednesday evening at the
Civic Center.
Climaxing the festival, a
Thanksgiving Day parade will
provide a feast for the eyes of
an estimated 250,000 spectat
ors beginning at 1:00 p.m.
