Prophet Cokurux Are They That Hear The WonrP T&e Lord waa speaking to a greup OM day on unclean splrtls, demon spirit* And after He had finiahed, a wo man there ia the group said; "...Dleaaid is the womb that bare thee, aad the papa wbich thou haat sucked " What was the Lord s reapouee to what the woman aatd? In verse χ Luke 11 is Hia reapouee; "But he tatt, Yea, rather, blessed are they that heer the word of God, and keep it" Our subject at this time is; "Blaeaed Are They That Heer." Are you hearing the Word of God? Many of you reed our meaaage diligently every weak. But are you heer ing the word my friend? The Lord said again in Matt. 13:14 thetyou are bleeaed if you can hear the Word of God. He also said; "Who hath ears to hear, let him bear." Do you have aers to heer? Now you may aak; Bro' Little, doeen't everybody have ears to hear? The answer la, no. When 1 was a boy growing up in the religious world I would read thsee Scriptures on Sunday ' afternoon alooe after coming in from church and I asked question; doesn't everybody have ears to hear? > I thought the reference was to the ι—"" —r. My triend, when the Lord speaks about : bearing the Word, and keeping : it, or, he that hath ears to ' beef, let him heer, He is not tdfeiiXiebQut the natural ear you were born with, no! Alright, what ia meant by the hearing ear7 Now you ■ listen aa for eternity, for your '·- soul la at atake. Prov. 20:13 "The bearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord bath made even both of them." 'in the New Birth, the Holy Spirit gtvea the a inner a "bearing ear" to hear the voice of the Lord, not the preacher's voice, you hear the preacher's voice with the natural ear. You CMMt heer the voice of the Lord until He gives you an ear . Un soul who has only nat ural ear* to bear, only hears the General Call, the soul who has been made alive (Eph. 1:1) by the bleased Holy Spirit , bas been given a bearing ear, ' which is a spiritual ear, to bear the Word of God. Until the Holy Spirit gives you this spiritual ear, you treat the Word very lightly. With just É. natural ear, y ou' Il teU me m much you eftjoy reading t messages as many of you «a, and you go an^abeut your business as usual. Yon •ee no danger, you do not see Hell moved from beneath to meat you at your coming. But «oca the Lgrd givea you an ear to bear Him through His Word, you see your eternal danger as • lost «iiMf i«H«r the Judg ment of a sin-avenging God. The raaaoirtta multitudes of yon go on in a happy-go-lucky mood is becauae you have never heard the Word of God. Once you are given an ear tn — ι an e*ur tn-» nru.t _ a _a . ... Λ hear, you are never the same. When the Lord opens your heart under Holy Spirit Con viction (Jn: 16:7-11) giving you ears to hear and eyes to see your lost ruined state out of Christ, you see and hear things about yourself you never dreamed of. All your false thoughts about some " good in you flee away as the Holy Spirit stripe you bare with the Word. Have you ever been stripped of all your self righteousness? You will be before God saves you. I'll stake my hope of Heaven on the truth I'm laying down here. Our church members, hav ing never been awakened to their lost condition are going on in the fantasy of religion, but to your own destruction. If the Holy Spirit never awakens you to your lost condition, you'll die and bust Hell wide open. You can call these Hell and damnation messages if vnu Wfent tft hilt If υ«ι βΛ Λ..1 under the cloud in your pre sent sUte, then you'll see you were wrong but it will not help your lost state then. Are you hearing the Word at God? Are you? Have you been made alive to the Word of God? What is your present state? Are you saved? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ m your Lord and your Saviour? The old prophet Amoe said there would be a famine for the bearing of the Word (Amos 8:11). He did not say a famine for the preaching of the Wocdt- - but a famine for the hearing of the Word. The Word is being preached more than ever be fore. But the religious world is not hearing the Word of God. Where can you go to find souls who are trying to mold their lives according to the Word of God? You lust don't find it very much, do you? Someone said to me very recently that they didn't know anyone here who is thirsting after Christ. friends, judgment is coming! Can't you see it? We are living in the darkest ' days the world has ever known. This is the darkest spiritual day so far. The con ditions Paul laid out in 2 Tim. 3 apply to the church today, the world has always lived like that But my church members— friend, you had better wake up, for you are headed to Hell in your religion. When I was a boy growing up in the religious world. I'd like to listen to some of the old folks there in church testify this way; "brothers and sis·." tere, 1 know I got religion, and you all pray for me, that my last days may be my best days." Listen friend, I don't question that you have reli gion. Satan is the moet relig ious being I know. But you listen; religion isn't salvation! Christ is salvation! You can be just as religious as the day is long, that doesn't have a thing in the world to do with salva tion, it doesn't. uui ciiuruiKS are going 10 Hell in religion. You think that iust because you are faithful church members you'll be swept on into the kingdom, no you won't either. You'll be swept or better yet, turned into Hell. Now you may say I'm being critical but I'm not, I'm being true to your souls. You are a lost sinner and you've got to get to Christ for salvation. Salvation is a Per wnind thatf^ereoo o-Chnst I don't care what your pastor tells you. If your pastor preaches any other way of salvation than Christ, you had better depart from him, for he is leading you to Hell under a religious cover ing. I'll make this statement; "if any preacher preaches any way of salvation other than what I've laid down in these messages for over two years, as u/P hflvp hM>n ruihlichtna in the POST and if any preacher preaches any salvation other than Christ, count him accursed and depart from him!" I make that statement tepidly and without hesitation. 1/ you don't have Christ, you don't have anything, if you don't know Christ, you don't know anything. How is it between you and the Lord? Are you saved? Do you want to be saved? Christ came to seek and to save that which was loet. Are you lost? Is He seeking you? At this time, may you turn to Him before it is too late. You may laugh and make tun of me ηοφ, but soon you'U be weeping. I pray that the Word will be taken home by the Spirit of God to some sinner somewhere out there. Pray for the discovery of your never dying soul Good-bye. gTïïi rawest Cagers Face Busy Slate by Chase Vance Poet Sports Writer The Southwestern 4A Con ference has a full slate of games tomorrow night.
