was recently selected for pro
motion to rank of Lieutenant
Colonel by the United States
Air Force. The Lieutenant
Colonel selectee is currently
assigned to Tyndall AFB,
Panama City, Florida and
serves as Commander of the
Aeroepace Defense Command
NCO Professional Military
Education School. The school
provides Leadership and
Management training to

10 accidents.
Drive during daylight hours
whenever possible. The fatal
ity rate is more than three
times greater at night than in
the daytime.
Don't drink and drive.
Drinking is a factor in about
half of all fatal traffic acci
dents.
Use your seat belt. The
National Safety Council says
that if all passengers in cars
did so, at least 12,000 lives
would be saved each year.

The annual Awards Banquet
of the Τ ALA HI (tuh-lah'hee)
Cub and Boy Scout District
will be held at the Armory
located at Douglas Municipal
Airport on West Boulevard on
December 7, at 6:30 p.m.
All adults who have children
in scouting in this District are

quet which recognizes those
people who make scouting
