WSOC To Sponsor Senior Citizens Christmas Party by Sherleen McKoy Post Staff Writer WSOC Television and Radio Station will sponsor the ninth annual Senior Citizens Christ mas Party at the Charlotte Merchandise Mart on East Independence, December 14, from 10 a.m. til 3 p.m. Co-sponsored by the George Shinn Foundation and The Mecklenburg County Social Services Department, the party is free and open to all senior citizens 60 years of age and older. Some 3500-4000 per sons are anticipated to attend this gala event. Dozens ιιζυυ) οι unristmas cookies will be made by the employees of WSOC, in addit ion to the presence of all of the station's personalities at the party.
