Hidden inside the roped off
hunt area will be 30,000 choco
late eggs and over 200 special
eggs containing certificates
redeemable for Carewinds tic
kets, Mayberry ice-cream
cones, WBT “Love Charlotte"
T-shirts, and other small
prizes. There will also be four
gold eggs good for brand new
bicycles.
Along with the WBT person
alities, the WBT Bunny, the
WBCY Chicken and Scoobey
Doo from Carowinds will be on
hand to entertain the children.
There will also be live blue
grass music by the Kilocycle
Kowboys.
120 Girl Scout volunteers
will be in the tyint area to
assist smaller children.
In the event of rain, the
WBT EASTER EGG HUNT
will be postponed until 2 p.m.
on Monday, April 16th. A
postponement announcement
will be made on 1110 WBT
Radio.
Children participating in the

Hunt W1 Be Held
Easter Sunday
The second annual GREAT
WBT EASTER EGG HUNT
will take place on Easter
Sunday, April 15th, at 2 p.m. in
Freedom Park. The event is
co-sponsored by the Charlotte
Parks and Recreation Depart
ment.
The hunt is open to all
children ages 3 through 9.
