Conrad has been star
ring in theatrics ever since
he sang “White Christ
mas” in a school musical
at age eight. About 10
years later, he enrolled in
Northwestern University’s
drama department. His
first professional job was
singing in a Chicago
nightclub.
Conrad invaded New
York, but failed to click.
Figuring if he was going to
hunt he’d rather do it in a
warmer climate, he
trekked to Hollywood.
There he won a contract
with Warner Brothers.

With it came roles on
• Maverick,” “77 Sunset
Strip,” "lawman" and
“Colt 45.” That led to a
four-year run as the star of
“Hawaiian Eye." Litter
came another four-year
run as the star of “The
Wild, Wild West.”
Conrad's hobbies include
boxing, skiing, bicycling
and swimming, which ac
count for the kind of shape
he’s in. He currently lives
