That fact alone was enough to make Mercy Hospital want to help by cooperating with Catholic 8odal Services to bouse an Infertility Counseling Service. Mrs. Barbara Fields, an RN who has studied and special ins in counseling couples about Infertility, began seeing clients last week in her office located on the first floor of the hospital. “Here is a chance,” she said, “for Mercy Hospital to offer something in the way of new life.” Hospital president Sister Mary Jeroae agrees. “We ere very enthusiastic about hous ing this service because it give* Mercy, which no longer has an obstetrics department, s unique role in helping to bring about new hie."
