Prophet(.olumn “The Saddest Day In All The World” “I'll Witness Against You” - Piirt . by J.M. Little At the judgment you won’t say I didn't do this or that. There are two records kept of everything you do or say, one is the record God is keeping, the other, you are keeping on the walls of your mind. At the Judgment they both will agree one hundred percent. ^ ou II see every day that you had here in time to turn to Christ. You'll say, “Oh. why couldn't I have listened? Oh, I wish to God I had listened. There will be no hope there for you my friend. Listen. But I say unto vou. That EVERY IDLE WORD that men shall speak, they shall give ac count thereof in the day of judgment (Matt. 12361 Yes, every idle word, that day you went behind closed doors cursing God's servants, tak ing them for a skinning, making fun of the gospel, every work, young woman, you will face it at the judg ment. Every night you slip ped out with the other man's wife. I have two women in my family who play the harlot. At the judgment you 'll face it my dear women. »vu ■■ iriiiciiiurr every uay you wrote another man and slipped out with him. You : thought you were getting : back at your husbands. ; There at the judgment you'll ; wish you had not done it. It didn’t matter whether your ; husbands knew it or not, • God saw it. He saw it when '. you lied to your husband. You thought you were doing : something smart. You’ll see : that your rebellion was : against God, not your • husbands. There will be no : mercy there for you. In the ; Lake of Fire you will lust • after some man but you will : not have him. The Great ; White Throne Judgment • will not change your base : lusts. Throughout the : ceaseless ages of eternity • your lust will be reaching out but never satisfied. The Lord gave you good husbands but you wanted a new thrill. It damned you to Hell. There is no appeal from this court. This judgment settles everything once and for all. Some believer may be lying under some accusa tion. There the beljever will be acquitted by the world. The opposite of Justification is Condemnation. Every soul who received a gospel message, whether from me or someone else, you’ll remember that you turned it down, trampling it under your unhallowed feet. You’ll remember young woman, every day you received a gospel message in the mail from New Orleans. You wuiiicu u ami. uuu IBgUlllg to ask you, my dear, what did you do with My messages? And you shall stand silent, admitting all your guilt. You will not say you aren’t guilty. This judg ment is a righteous judg ment. There is no error or mistake in it. When you stand there that day, you’ll wish you had received the truth. I’m going to have to witness against souls who worked with me right here in the office. You’ll see that you turned the truth down. You regarded the truth as trash in time. You did not have time to be bothered with such foolishness. But there you will regret eternally you did not turn to Christ. This judgment is not a pleasant judgment, no judg ment is^But it will be the sad dest day in all the world. Why? Can’t you see why? When I see my loved ones go off into the Lake of Fire you don't think that will not bring a flood of tears to my eyes? I weep for you now and you think I m crazy. My own flesh and blood thinks I'm the craziest thing they have ever seen. What a sad day, oh. the sadness there. In Luke 16 we have the story of a rich man and a beg gar. The beggar dies and is carried by angels into Abraham's bosom, the rich man dies and lifts up his eyes in Hell. There are two souls who know there is a Hell, every believer knows there is a Hell and every awakened sinner knows there is a Hell. A preacher on the radio was trying to do away with Hell. He is not saved. God never calls a man to misrepresent Him. iu ins lue nme uie ncn man had all the comforts he would ever have. And as Mr. Holcomb said in his song: the rich man was there but his money had melted and vanished away. The rich man, like every other Christ rejector, will face the judg ment to be judged. YOU my friend will be there to be judged if you don’t flee to Christ now in mercy. When this Judgment is set, time shall be no more. Yes, there will come a space when time shall be no more. How will it be then with you my friend? How will you fare? Think seriously my friend, you are out into eternity. Yes, all the redeemed will be there to witness against the unbelievers. Are you an unbeliever? Will you be there as a witness for your Lord or to be judged? Will you consider these things? Your life is now centered on material things. Remember, a man's life consisted! not in the abundance of the things which he possesses. The material things of this life will pass away. But you are going to live in eternity forever. One of the most awful things about Hell is memory. Abraham said to the rich man, “Son, remember." My dear friend remember, remember wife, remember young woman. Oh, the awfulness of the memory in Hell! Yes, you’ll remember but you will be tormented. Memory will tor ment you forever. Remember Son, remember daughter, remember friend. According to Rev. 20:13 every man in going to be judged according to his works. You will not be judg ed for what the other fellow did, oh no. You are going to be judged for what you did. You will not point the finger at the other fellow there as you do here. A young woman said some years ago, *'I know I’m going to Hell but I won't be there by myself." She also said she didn t care. Not too long ago Ross died and went to Hell. What a tragedy! How tragic it is to murder your own soul. Listen, And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Rev. 20:151. Is your name in the Book of Life? Mine is, I praise the Lord He wrote my name in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world. If He had not put it there I never would have been sav ed. I praise the Lord He will wipe away all tears from my eyes that day. In Rev. 21 John said he saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were pass ed away; and there was no more sea. Praise the Lord. My friend, now is the day of salvation. John also said the former things are passed away. We will not remember them any more. You in my family, I won't remember you any more. All memory of former things shall be over. Can you imagine how awful it would be to have to remember that your loved ones are burning in the Lake of Fire? It is awful now to think of the judgment they are under day by day and they care not for their souls. How awful it is you go on day by day not caring about the eternal welfare of your souls. Oh, the sadness of it all. But this judgment will be THE SADDEST DAY IN ALL THE WORLD. Turn to Christ now my friends. CBL Chooses Five (('onl. From Page 1) Boy Scouts. He is a director of Boystown.
