Nigerian Rev. Victor Muso Will Be Calvary’s Guest Speaker

Calvary Church will feature
Rev. Victor Muso of Nigeria
as their missionary con
ference guest speaker
Saturday, October 27 at 5. He
will speak at Calvary Church
about his conversion to
Christianity, the impact of
evangelism in Africa and what
the Nigerian Church is doing
in response to Christian
evangelism in Africa.
Rev. Muso is now studying
at Columbia Bible College
Graduate School located in
South Carolina. He is a native
of Nigeria and holds various
positions with evangelist
groups of Africa.
He is the General Secretary
of Evangelism for Churches of
West Africa, the head of the
Department of Church
Growth of the Evangelical
Churches of West Africa,
t Trustee of the Mennonite
Central Committee, and
Honorary Secretary of the
Nigeria Bible Translation
Trust. He is also a graduate
of Nigeria Igbaji Cemenary.
Rev. Muso's wife and four
children joined him in the
United States last year. They
will be present at Calvary
Church also.
Calvary Church is having
their “God Reaching People
Through People” missionary
conference Ocotber 27 through
31- a five day focus on the
worldwide work of the church.
There will be special music
guest artists and the Calvary
choir.
Calvary Church is pastored
by Dr. Ross Stover Rhoads
and is located at Sardis and
Randolph Road.

purpose is to raise money for
the church’s mortage fund.
China Grove AME Zion
Church will be the site of the
coronation.
This annual event has a
financial goal of $10,000. Last
year the $10,000 goal was
exceeded.
Mrs. Charlotte Ann
Fremman, reigning “Mrs.
China Grove," will crown the
new queen of 1979! Also, other
awards will be presented after
the crowning. A reception will
follow in the China Grove's
fellowship hall.
