l*rophpt's (. J. M. Little My dear friends, Last week we concluded the series on The Saddest Day In All The World." That judg ment pictured there in the 20th chapter of the Book of Reve lation is the last judgment. How is it between you and Christ? Are you safe in Him? It'll do you no good to criticize the other fellow, the state of your soul and where you will spend eternity is what is all important. You and I are eternity bound. Where will you spend eternity? ) Truly, we are living in the _ last days now. The coming of ■* the Lord draweth nigh. I won der how many of you heard Brother Shelton this past Sun day morning at seven over i WAG1 FM 105.3?You should ' tune in and hear those mess %',dges. 1 know, it has been said that the messages are too stiff. --'Well, I praise the Lord they are stiff. It was messages like that, by my late pastor that ' the> Holy Spirit used to awaken me to mv lost and ruined t condition as a soul on the road to Hell. It’s no disgrace to be awakened to your lost condit ion. That is grace if you are awakened to your lost cond ition. That is the greatest tiling that can happen to you as a sinner My Lord said; “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.’’(Lk. 19:10) Are you lost? If you are, then Christ is seeking you. Have you ever been lost? If you have then you have been saved. That’s right. If you have ever been lost, then Christ nas saved you. I don’t mean lost in the head, I mean lost in the heart. If you have~eVer been brought down in repentence, come to the end rtf i./v..- ...... ___ ii s_ -J-»T iU( ou livpc gone, and there was no way out except Christ, then you have been saved. And you can say with me, Christ died for me, I’m His, and He is mine. Praise the Lord. I’ll never forget when God saved me. I don’t want to forget it, and never will I get over it. I want to tell you friends. I was a lo6t sinner without hope. I had done ev erything under the sun to get God to save me and nothing had helped, I felt my condition worse and worse. I had pray ed, read messages, studied the Word night and day, and everywhere I went I was crying; Lord, I am a lost sinner, Lord help me, Lord save me or I perish. I read in the Scripture that only a few would be saved. I cried; Lord, if only one will be saved, I want to be that one. I was resolved that if I had to wade through Hell to get to Christ I’d go. What difference did it make what others thought of me, I knew I was going to Hell anyway. But I was funner resolved, Lord, if I go to Hell I’ll go to Hell trusting you. I knew God was omnipotent. Somehow I knew the Word of God was true. I couldn't be lieve Christ but I knew the Word of God was true. Now that may sound like a con tradiction to you. And I cannot explain it. I don't have to, but I knew everything in the Word was true. And also the Holy Spirit convinced me there was no hope outside of Christ. I saw clearly that if God saw one hair’s breath of J.M. Little, it would mean Hell for me. Either I would be put under the blood of Christ and be safe there, or I would go to Hell in my sins. I want to tell you friends. Holy Spirit Con viction is the closest thing to Hell and death because you are seeing yourself as God sees you.Now get this; there is no salvation in Christ apart from Holy Spirit Conviction. I'll stake my hope of Heaven on the truth I’m laying down here. The sinner who bypasses Holy Spirit Conviction dies in his sins and wakes up in Hell! I know what I’m talking about. Now you had better think seriously on your way. Con version is made easy today, no pain, no parting with the world, no repen tence etc. All this soap box derby religion is on the road to Hell. u yuu ore sovra, wny can l you talk to me about Christ? Who ever heard you tell how God saved you? As long as you can sit there and pick me to pieces, that is concrete evid ence you are not saved. And you’ll never be saved as long as you criticize me. A woman recently made fun of the mess ages and said I wasn’t saved. She cut me to shreds and then said she was going to pray for me. I just looked at her and felt sorry for her. I wouldn’t be in her place for ten thousand worlds. But I know of a certainty that the greatest thing in all this universe is just to know Christ. I’m glad the Lord saved me. He is my hope and joy. Christ is my all in all. How is it with you?Do you know Christ? Do you? I’m not talk ing about making a profession and “jining” the church. What I want to know from you is; do you know Christ? Has He been revealed to your heart? Just because you are a Bible tea cher is no sign you are saved. I was a Bible teacher for years before God saved me. You are not saved because you are a preacher either. You are sav ed only if you know Christ. Salvation is a Person, and that Person is the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ minus nothing, and Christ plus nothing. I am saved by a Person, not works! You cannot mix works and grace. Now you think serious ly on your wav. This world is the preparing place for everyone, you are either being prepared for Hea ven or Hell. Which are you being prepared for? Hundreds of thousands are dying every day, going out into eternity. One day you will be in that number. Since I sat down at the typewriter .thousands have gone out under the cloud with out Christ. It is a very rare occasion when a soul enters Heaven. You may try to resolve eternity with atheism, but you can’t. You are going to die friend, and as Brother Shelton used to pr each; “as death finds you, so shall eternity hold you.” Think and consider these eternal realities. At death it’ll be too late. It is too late for some of you now. Remember the rich man in Luke 16. That is a true story, not a parable as many preach. I beg you, turn to Christ before it is too late. Christ is coming soon.
