WBTV Sets "A Family . Thanksgiving" "A WBTV Family Thanksgiv ing" will begin early on November 22nd and continue throughout the day on WBTV, Channel 3. "This Morning" at 6:15 am will find Dick Taylor, C. J. Underwood, Jim Berry and Jim Patterson helping Barbara Stutts prepare the traditional turkey and trimmings and looking forward to the Thanks giving Day Parades from New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Detroit and Hawaii, which begin at 9 am and continue til NFL Football time at noon when Chicago battles Detroit. At 3:30 pm, Mike McKay-and Lynne Bradley hoet the 33rd Caro lines ' Carrousel Parade, with the famous bandleader Charlie Spivak as Grand Marshal. Gorgeous beauty queens, stirring inarching bands and magnificent float will be featured, and on une of those floats will be some of WBTVs person alities including Yvette Alston, C. J. Underwood, Lester Strong, Clara Lowry, Lou Heckler and Ty Boyd. Following the parade at 5:30 pm, the WBTV gang will get together for fun and feasting, with Clyde McLean as host. While waiting to devour the by-now luscious turkey, the group hears about a Thanks giving in 1886 from 97-year-old Anna Guignard, and about Indian Thanksgivings from Cherokee Lloyd Owl. They'll also be enter tained by the outstanding local singer Daryl Rice who'll musically "Bless This House," and the Unity Singers who'll blend their voices for "We Gather Together " Myers Park Theeipan* To Present Play The Myers Park Thespians will present Paul Zincel's "The Effect of Gamma Rays an Mao-in-the moon Marigolds" Nov. 29, SO and Dec. 1. Located in Myers Park Studio Theatre, MOO Colony Road, the drama will begin at 8 p.m. Ticket* are tz at the door. VOICES OP LOVE — Two sharply contrasting productions of a work by Jean Cocteau will be presented back to back m "Great Performances," Wednesday, Nov. 28, on PBS. "The Hsman Voice" featares Llv Ullmann (above) la a «se character theater piece as the has a last desperate conversation with her former lover. In "La Voix Hamalae," Kara· Armstreag stars la aa avaat-garde operatic film version of the work.
