26 Participate In Cotillion Ball Pne of the most benefi cial occasions of the year is the annual Cotillion Ball sponsored by the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This year marks the 16th year of the ball. It will be held 9 p.m., Saturday, March 29 at the Park Cen ter, 310 Kings Drive. Twenty-six young ladies are participating in the cotijJ|^n this year - one of the largest number ever. The ladies are involved to discover their own creative potentials. The historic life insurance purchase was engineered by C. P. Booker, manager of NCM’s Winston-Salem district office. Miss Evans purchased WAAA, Winston-Salem’s only radio station with black-oriented program ming, last October.
