She’s a Radiologic Technologist Super visor in the Emergency Room. Her adventure began in 1962 when she enrolled in the Charlotte Memorial Hospital Radiologic Technology Program. Since her graduation in 1964, she’s been meeting the challenges of her ca reer and growing with her field and the hospital. “I would say, yes, come in to it. I have really enjoyed working as a Rad. Tech, because you get to deal with people... I love dealing with people.” Human interaction. The chal lenge of learning a field where you receive as much as you give. “There’s a lot more involved than you would think . .. most people don’t know about X-Ray or Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy or Ultrasound... we get to go to all areas of the hospital and deal with people of all ages, including children.” Pearlie Moore’s adventure has meant a lot to her. “I think that maybe there are people out there that don’t know that Memorial is offering educa tional programs . . . well, the Radiologic Technology program has been a fulfilling one for me.” Memorial not only offers adven tures in Radiologic Technology, but Medical Technology, Nurse Anesthesia and Hospital Admin istration.
