Between 24 to 49 years ago people’s views of America have changed - it’s up to you to determine if they are for the better. The Department of Commerce, Census Bureau released that in 1950, 70 percent of the households had full-time working fathers, stay-at-home mothers and one or more school-age children, ( a percentage of total households). In 1979, only 14 percent of the total households could be termed as above. One person households, as a per cent of total households rose in 1980 to 23 percent compared to 13.1 percent in 1969 and 17.1 percent in 1970. And this seems to be the most startling one, and it’s actually no secret to the American public.
