Their classes are being spon
sored by the Hair Original Beauty
Center and will be held for . six
weeks a( the center’s location. 2020
N. Graham Street.
The entire six week program will
cost only $20 or $2 per class. A free,
introductory class was held April
17 trom 10-11 am.
Classes began April 19. Monday
and Wednesday 5:30-6:30; Tues
day and Thursday from 7:45-8:45
p.m. and Saturdays from 10-11
a.m.

movement of aerobic exercises set
to music but Mrs. Brown and Mrs.
Bost will also share with you their
knowledge concerning the im
provement of your blood circula
tion; increasing cardiovascular
fitness; releasing tension; and
giving you pleasure, enjoyment
and self-satisfaction.

“Brown is a certified instructor of
Aerobics and Slimnastics. She has
three years of instructional ex
perience at Central Piedmont
Community College. She holds a
masters degree in Education and
Curricular Instruction.
Mrs. Bost is an expert in the field
of nutrition and diet. She holds a
master’s degree in the area of
Food and Nutrition and is regis
tered with the American Diabetics
Association. She also has 12 years
of experience with Public Health.

Barber-Scotia College will pre
sent its 5th Annual International
Festival through Sunday, April 23.
The festival is organized through

Multi cultural Studies at BSC and
is designed to broaden the know
ledge of students, faculty, staff and
the local communities in inter
nationalism by providing oppor
tunities for world study and in
ternational understanding.
“This year's theme, ‘Education
for International Understanding' is
intended to help us focus on a cele
bration of the spirit of internation
alism and multi-culturalism in our
communities,’' says Dr. David
Panyako, chairman of the Division
of Social Sciences and Education
and director of the project.
Dr. Panyako says that the festiv
al week will include seminars,
cultural entertainment, native cos
tumes and dishes, and exhibits.
Most of the events are free of
charge and are open to the public.
