As always it Degins with Side One. “If I Had The Chance,” an exhilirating duet with M^rva King possesses the melodies and sounds to leave you mystified. From there another stirring, melodic tune, “All I See Is You,” takes control and leads up to the pulsating beat of “Night _Miracles” but slows down for “Love's Grown Deep.” Briefly Side Two contains the rocking rhythm of “Possessed,” the love ballads, “Love Is Missing From Our Lives" and “Under standing Man” and the upbeat tune, “Dance Away The Pain.” -Patrice Itushen— “Straight From The Heart” “Straight From The Heart” does not simply magnify the talents of Patrice Rushen as a vocalist but her ability as a top-rate producer, arranger, lyricist and musician.
