Can Tinted Glasses Hurt Eves? Plain, ordinary tinted glasses won’t improve your ability to see. Neither will they hurt your eyes. Some people like to wear them because they shield their eyes from sunlight or the glare of bright lights. j There’s no harm in wearing them indoors if the light is good. But they aren’t recommended when the lights are low. Your eyes depend on light for their ability to see. The combination of tinted glasses and poor lighting means your eyes will have to strain to see. Do that too often or for long periods _ and you will probably get eye strain headaches. But if tinted glasses are worn becauselhe eyes are bothered in " any way, it’s a good idea to have an eye examination first. Sensitivity to bright light is a warning that your eyes may be straining to focus on objects that are near or far away. Tinted glasses won’t improve your vision or take the strain away. Only prescription glasses can do~tluu. Prescription " glasses can be tinted, too. In the interest of bettervision from the office of: Raleigh Bynum O.D. E. Indep. The TW On their current nationwide tour, The Time retired to their Ann Arbor, Michigan, hotel suites after a very successful show - too successful in the opinion of certain hotel switchboard operators. The flurry of phone calls from Time enthusiasts raged into such a blizzard that hotel management refused to process a single call to the rooms held by The Time. If the manager of that hotel were asked "What time is it?’’, he’d have to answer...“Time to get seprate lines installed in everv room.” * SERENDIPITY FLEA MARKET & TRADE LOT SAT. A SUN.
