He has written, “That which the Lord hath ordained as the sovereign remedy and mightiest instrument for the healing of all the world is the union of all its peoples in one, universal Cause, one common Faith.” The Baha’i Faith teaches the oneness of God, the oneness of religion, and the oneness of humanity. In His writings, Baha'u’llah promulgates the equality of men and women, the es sential harmony of science and religion, the indepen dent investigation of truth, economic justice based upon spiritual principles, the urgent need for the elimination of all forms of prejudice, universal com pulsory education, an inter national auxiliary lan guage, and a world govern ment for the maintenance of a lasting peace.
