Fraternity To Present Pre-Thanksgiving Holiday Dance For the time of your life ihe oela Nu Lambda Chap ter of the Alpha Phi Al pha Fraternity, Inc. will present a Pre-Thanksgiv ing Holiday Dance Novem ber 24 from 9 p.m. until l a.m. at the Charlotte Civic Center. You can enjoy the music al preludes of the talented Gaston Band and you may just run into an old friend or two. The school is now accept ing nominations of those who have special interest and ability in the two areas and who wish to spend the 11th and 12th grade years in a residential school. The campus is located in Dur ham with easy access to the science resources in the Research Triangle. Admission materials have been sent to every public and non-public high school in the state and to a number of individuals and groups statewide. If you are interested in applying, talk with your counselor. n-r 1-r T The Hotel-Restaurant Management Program (H-RMP) of Morris Brown - College was recently the recipient of an endowment grant worth $100,000 from the Coca-Cola Corporation. The first installment came in the form of a $25,000 check presented to the pre sident of the College, Dr. Robert Threatt, and Austin Hanson, president of Au stin Hanson Associates. Sara Lunsford, manager of the Corporate Contribu tions of the Coca-Cola Company, presented the check. Morris Brown is one of three predominantly Black institutions with estab lished hotel-restaurant management programs. + + + + + An informal survey con ducted last spring by Robert Poole, director of Development at North Carolina Central Univers ity Office of Development revealed that the most pressing need at the uni versity can be summed up in one word - scholarships.
