on Saturday, January 8, by
WPCQ, Channel 36 in what
station officials believe
may be the largest l*/e,
locally produced television
production in North and
South Carolina.

believe it may well repre

production effort in the
Carolinas.”
“In fact,” Arrington
added, “as far as we can
tell Charlotte may be one of
only five or six cities na
tionally in which a local

in its entirety. We con
tacted two natkmal running
magazines and they were
' only aware of similar pro
ductions in Boston, New
York, Atlanta, San Fran
cisco and Chicago, al
though no one seems to
officially compile such in
formation.”
