Prophet s Column “In The Days Of Noah” By J.M. Little “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with vio lence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth,” (Gen. 6:13). God spoke to His servant Noah, the old pa triarch and told him He was going to destroy all flesh. Why was God going to destroy all flesh? FOR THE EARTH IS FILLED WITH VIOLENCE THROUGH THEM...” All mankind except Noah and his immediate family of three sons and wives had corrupted God's way on the earth. In order for the sovereign God of the uni verse to declare that He would destroy all flesh, all flesh would have to be in an incurable state. The earth was populated with millions of people at this time, and even though the earth was under the curse it brought forth far more abundantly than it does now. Keep in mind that Jehovah God is speaking to Noah about two thousand years after God made Adam and Eve. When God made Adam and placed him in the garden, and later gave him his mate, the woman, the Lord gave the man and woman every thing they needed, every thing for their happiness. But the Serpent beguiled the woman which led the entire human race into slavery. Every soul out of Christ is a slave of sin and Satan. You deny that but J.M. Little Fourth In series it's true and If the blessed Holy Spirit ever awakens you to your lost condition you will come to know just what a slave of sin and Satan you are. It was a great day in my life when the Holy Spirit awakened me to my lost condition and showed me my ruined, fallen, and de praved state. But it was most gracious when He revealed Christ to my heart as my Substitute. Has chnst been revealed to your heart? Let me say again, there is no power or deliverance in WATER BAPTISM. When the Holy Spirit brings a poor lost sinner to Christ, He baptiz es that sinner into Christ, and Christ an the sinner are one. You are saved by grace apart from any human works. If there is one hair’s breath of works in your salvation, you are not saved! I wish all of you could have heard the mes sage by my late pastor, L.R. Shelton, over WAGI (106) this morning at 7:90. Now, be was cutting right down the line oo how God saves a lost sinner, which the majority of our preach ers know nothing about. The preachers of Noah’s day did not know how the Lord saves a lost sinner, either. Well, if they did why didn’t they h^ed the warn ing message from Noah? God never sends judg ment without first sending His warning message through His prophet. He told Noah He would destroy all flesh from off the earth. But God gave mankind 120 years, not of pardon, but of reprieve. One hundred and twenty years before judg ment would fall. What was the heart attitude of the 'generation of Noah’s day toward God’s warning? There is not jot or tittle in Holy Writ to testify that any of that corrupted gen eration during the one hundred and twenty years received the message into their hearts and repented. That wicked generation went about their own way; eating, drinking (drunken ess), marrying, and giving in marriage (wife swap ping), buying, selling, planting, and building, (Lk. 17:27-28), NUMEROLOGY By Herman 912 137 621 517 168 789 534 258 284 390 687 683 743 471 520 597 104 834 720 640 910 139 Salutes The World 6001 Free To The First 36 Customers. . .Choice Of An STP, Quaker State Or Armor-All Racing Team Cap Plus Free STP Car Window Stickers! -- 1 !
