Prophet’s Cokmui Special To The Post (First in series) I hope that you are tuning in each Sunday morning and listening to our late pastor. L.R. Shel ton. on The Voice of Truth at 7:30 a m. over WAGI FM, 105.3, and over WAGL 1560 at 8 a.m. on AM. He is bringing the series of mes sages on the Book of Reve lation. Those messages will be a great blessing to your heart If you are saved, if you are awakened, they'll encourage you to-jurn to Christ. There are only two souls walking the face of this earth; the saved, and the lost. Which are you? Do you know Christ? I’m glad I know the Lord. The great est thing' in all this uni verse is just to know Christ as my Lord and my Saviour. And praise the Lord, He is soon coming for me. Is He coming for you? One day, I shall overcome, all the trials will be over, aw$y from all IhehSTredor unsaved men, away from all the stife of tongues. Safely home with my Lord. You know that’s something to look forward to isn’t it? I look forward to the soon appearing of my Lord. And I can say with the beloved Apostle John; “...but I know that, when He shall appear, I shall be like Him; ; shall see Him as He la” What glory that shall be! My friends, I’m talking to ; you about the invisible realities of another world. . The bomagain believer is the overcomeT. If I were not looking for the coming of my Lord I would have no -hope. Just to think that the Lord of all glory chose me before the foundation of the world, set His love upon such a hell-deserving sin ner as I, is beyond all my understanding. And one day I shall rule and reign with Him. First the Lord must come for His saints, J. M. Little First in series then He shall come with His saints and we’ll rule with Him for a thousand years on this earth, (Rev. 20). Deny that to the damn ation of your poor, lost soul. God’s Word is true whether you believe it or not._ Let me say this also; EVERY BORNAGAIN BE LIEVER K EASILY EN TREATED! The reason you are hard and cussed is because you are not born again, you don’t know Christ. As someone rightly said of a man here; “he is “not horn a gain." Then again; A BORNAGAIN BELIEVER WILL NOT ’ FIGHT ANOTHER BORN AGAIN BELIEVER.” Your fighting the believer is the concrete evidence of your unsaved and unfor given state. I would not exchange what I have in Christ for ten million worlds. You’d give every thing to just know Christ. Now, I just wanted to throw that in as my personal testimony. ’ Our subject at this time is: THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD.*' It is God who made the entire universe including everything in it God is omnipotent; which means He is all powerful. God is omnipresent; which means He is present every where. God is omniscient; which means He knows everything. I want to look at this time at the sov ereign tyoKiod in the life of King N ebuchadnezzaF” oT ~ Babylon. Babylon was a world power during the time of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, no nation could suc cessfully challenge the power of mighty Babylon. In Daniel chapter 3 we have the story of the heath en king of Babylon setting up a golden image and commanding that all fall down and worship his image. "Then ai^ herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, na tions, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: And whoso falleth not down and worshipped! shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning1- fiery fur nace," (Dan. 3:4-6). Baby lon, being a heathen na tion, worshipped idol gods. But this one idol, the king's golden image was set up to be worshipped above all others. So the decree was sent out by the messengers that at the time the musical instruments began to sound, all the people were to fall down and worship the golden image. The Jews were in Babylonian slavery at this time. The Lord had permitted them to be carried away in Babylonian slavery be cause of all the sin and rebellion of the chosen people, the Jews, the Lord has His faithful remnant. In the midst of all the idolatry of the great world power, Babylon, there re mained a few faithful to the Lord. In the midst of the idolatry of America, which is just as idolatrous as Babylon, the Lord has a faithful few. Are you in the number of the faithful few? Satan, in his fight aginst the Lord’s faithful, sent spies to watch the faithful _ few. It was a group of Chaldeans who reported to the king of Babylon that three of the Jewish cap tives would not fall down and worship the king's image. When this message was brought to the king he was very angry. THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD.
