best exposures because
they are controlled by com
puters, according to Chuck
Williams, chief technolo
gist in Mercy’s Cardiology
Laboratory.
Other features of the ca
theterisation unit include a
heart monitor that uses a
computer to measure blood
flow through the heart and
the heart vahrea. An elec
trocardiogram monitor
(EKG) simultaneously
measures heart rate.

art equipment, there are
many benefits to patients
and physicians,” Mr. Will

which is an earlier model,
