Timisha Barnes will be
presented in concert. The
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Barnes of Kan
napolis, N.C., Timisha is a
very talented teenager who
has performed on tele
vision as well as through
out the state.
The concert which will
start at 3 p.m. will climax
the Mister and Miss
Mowing Glade Contest.
Competing for these titles
are Twyin Cunningham,
Antoine Earl, Brian John
son, Auntrina Wright,
Sonja Moore and Melnina
McDowell.
Some of their sponsors
include Mr. and Mrs. Bose
Durley, Mr. Tommy
Nasekos, Dr. Jerry Jones,
Dr. Tolly Knenon, Dr.

first session is at 1:30 p.m.,

day, June 15. Registra

the Student Union Building
on the Shaw University
campus. The theme for
1984 is “Biblical Images of
the Church and their Con
temporary Significance.’’

the opening sermon on
Monday, at 8 p.m. He will

served as moderator of the
Tuckahoe Baptist Asso

Union University, as dean
of the School of Theology,

chairman and member of
the Richmond school
board.
