The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barnes of Kan napolis, N.C., Timisha is a very talented teenager who has performed on tele vision as well as through out the state. The concert which will start at 3 p.m. will climax the Mister and Miss Mowing Glade Contest. Competing for these titles are Twyin Cunningham, Antoine Earl, Brian John son, Auntrina Wright, Sonja Moore and Melnina McDowell. Kenneth Copeland Minis Church Workers To Benefit From Divinity School Meet Special To The Post The Shaw Divinity School’s Annual Church Leaders Conference, com prised of the Forty Eighth Annual Ministers’ Institute and the Tenth An nual Church Lay Lead ers’ Institute, will be held at Shaw University, Ra leigh, June 11-15. Registration for the Con ference will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 11. The first session is at 1:30 p.m., June 11. The conference will end near noon on Fri day, June 15. Registra tion and all sessions of the conference will be held in the Student Union Building on the Shaw University campus. The theme for 1984 is “Biblical Images of the Church and their Con temporary Significance.’’ Dr. Miles J. Jones, pas tor of Providence Baptist Church, Richmond, will be the principal resource per son. Dr. Jones will preach the opening sermon on Monday, at 8 p.m. He will deliver'a daily lecture on the theme from Tuesday through Thursday, June 12 14, at 10:30 a.m. “Churches throughout North Carolina and the nation can benefit from the conference,’’ said Dr. J. Z. Alexander, dean of con tinuing education with the Shaw Divinity School.
