reappointed Lucius Jones
of Wendell to the Inmate
Grieveance Commission.
Both will serve until June
30, 1968.
Diggs is the pastor of
Mayfield Missionary
Baptist Church. He is
Currently serving on the
executive board of the
General Baptist State
Convention of North
Carolina and the
Community Relations
Committee of Charlotte. He
is also a former member of
the Christian Rehabilita
tion Center of Mecklenburg
bounty.
Jones is president of the
Wendell Federal Savings
ind Loan Association. He
las served as town
\ pmmissioner and
' resident of the Wendell
hamber of Commerce. He
currently president of
te Wendell Industrial
Srporation in addition to
irving on the commission.
The five-member
ommission reviews

Scholarship
A new scholarship for
ludying criminal justice is
available to students at
Central Piedmont Com
munity College for the 1984
85 academic year.

(criminal Justice, juvenile

To qualify for the
scholarship, students must

Carolina and must
maintain a passing grade
average. First priority will
be given to the son or
daughter of any deceased
law enforcement officer,
according to the criteria
set up by the Sheriffs’
Association.
