Entitled the Churchmen's Fall Olympics, the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last until 4:30 p.m., Saturday, October 20. - Sponsored by the Men's Council Group the Olympic events will be held at the Amay James Park andRecreation Center. Pre-registration donation is $2 per person. At 1 p.m. a free lunch will be served. The fun, however, comes in the games. Representatives from churches will be able to compete in events like checkers, softball throw, the 90 and 100 yard dash, horse shoes, basketball, arm wrestling, table tennis and more. A graduate of Howard University School of Law and Kentucky State University, Ms. McCloud is articulate, substantive and provides thought-provoking messages. The Association gives two $500 scholarships per year to worthy students. Sessions of the 63rd MGBA will be held each evening at 7 p.m., October 7-11.
