Al is state director of the Coalition of Concerned Ci tizens in the Community, an organization founded by Bishop W. McCollough in '1979 at the United House of Prayer’s Washington,''' D.C., headquarters. . As director, AI’s duties % include voter registration (he is a Mecklenburg County registrar), senior citizens programs, . hotel and motel accommoda tions. youth programs, jobs, housing, medical " workshops, and many, other programs benefiting. Ward in downtown Char Al. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephan A, Cloud, was born in Dallas, N.C., and graduated North Gaston High School. He received an AA degree from Gas ton College and later at tended North Carolina Cen tral University in Durham, where he majored in hank ing and finance.
