The theme will be “Eat Them Alive Home coming 85.” Keith was appointed chairman by Student Go vernment President Darryl Sledge, Keith’s assistant is Karen McAllister. Keith and Karen have worked very hard in plan ning the homecoming week’s activities. Each night of the week from November 3-9 will include an event to aid in getting everyone in the homecom ing spirit. Sunday night Miss JCSU and her court hosted a fashion and talent show for Erik Andrews, 21, a junior from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., was in the Homecoming spirit Tuesday and sported a Johnson C. Smith University sweat shirt. Andrews stopped on the steps of the university’s Administra tion building to chat with Eugene Maybin, 20, a political science major from Spartanburg, S.C. Mon day night was the skating party and volleyball game, sponsored by the Student Christian Association. Tuesday included the College Bowl and splash party; Wednesday was the Mr. Bull contest, and Thursday included an ice cream parlor and comedy skit. Friday will bring the big events as the alumni play a basketball game, and the cheerleaders host the mock funeral, pep rally and bon fire. Later that night will be the pre-dawn dance fea turing alumnus Gregg Lee. The university band will give a wakeup call at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by a 6-8 a.m. breakfast to prepare everyone for the big parade and homecom ing game. The Greek step show and many other ac tivities will follow the game. Sunday will end the 1985 homecoming at dear old JCSU with a morning wor ship service in the uni versity church and at 7 p.m. a Gospel Extravagan za. The JCSU family and the homecoming com mittee urge everyone to come out and join the fun.
