KingV& Queen’s Nightspot Celebrates King’s A Queen’s just hsd a birthday. At a mere 10 years old, King’s A Queen’s has deservedly earned the reputation on being one af Charlotte's hottest nightspots. Mayor Harvey Gantt was on hand to give special congratula tions to Nathaniel and Lu cille Black, owners of the club. The night was just a special night altogether, especially with folks like Dr. and Mrs. Spurgeon Webber, Dr. Mildred Bax ter Davis, Sarah Steven son, Jim Richardson, Mi chael Todd, Doretha Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Roddey, Mr. and Mrs. William Lit tle, Sarah Coleman, Jackie Harrison of Las Vegas, along with a host of other friends and relatives there. ATLANTIC CITY A few members of Steele Creek AME Zion and Plea sant Hill Baptist Churches made a journey to Atlantic City. All arrangements were made by Ethel Ervin. The word has it that the buffet style food and the free shows made the trip mare than worthwhile. WBTV ALL-STARS The WBTV All-Stars baseball team will battle the Charlotte Orioles Fri day, July 25, at 9:30pm at Loretta WITH LORETTA MAN AGO ENTERTAINING THOUGHTS Crockett Park. CHARITY HORSE SHOW The 15th annual Knights of Columbus Charity Horse Show will be held July 25-27 at the Charity Horse Show Grounds, on Tom Short Rd. Each show begins at 8am.
