Rosalyn Webb And Charles gj: % ^ *^v.J\£-^vir. Merriweather Exchange Kates In an evening ceremony, Rosalya Webb and Charles Edward Memweather exchanged solemn vows of love and fidelity. The wedding took place at the Saint Rose Church of Christ in Wilson, N.C. Bishop Mordecai Johnson officiated the ceremony. Given in marriage by her brother, Walter Lee Webb Jr., the bride wore a white coupe de ville gown fashioned with a high neckline. Silk Venice appliques and seed pearls adorned the leg-o-mutton sleeves and fitted basque. Tiers of coupe de ville ruffles bordered the hem line of a semi-cathedral train. For her headpiece the bride wore a double-tiered waltz length veil of bridal illusion that fell from a caplet. The bride’s sister, Eva Anderson, served as the matron of i honor. Tracey Dickerson was thd maid of honor. Other bridesmaids included the bride’s sisters, Sharron Webb, Valerie Webb, and Jovannie Webb, the groom’s sisters, Sharon Smith, and Paulette Brown, LaWanda Byrum and Evon Streeter. Little Misses Shawandra Merriweather, and Chimera Browne were the flower girls. They art the groom's nieces. The groom chose Aaron Whitfield as best man. He was assisted by groomsmen Robert Anderson, Sgt. Rufus Moore III, the groom’s cousin, Ray Dukes, Ulysses Merriweather and Vincent Rhett, the groom’s brothers, Willie Smith, Reginald Dickerson^ Jerome Artis and George Adams. Ushers for the wedding included Ricky Davis and Anthony Barnes. Master Travares Wilson, the gi’oom’s nephew, was the ring bearer. WomanReach “Self-Talk - Self-Motivation. WomanReach at The ‘J’”, will be thet topic of the seminar at the Jewish Community Center, Shalom Center, August 28, Thursday, 12:30-2 p.m. Betty Crook, a WomanReach volunteer, will facilitate the seminar. . As acolyte, the bride chose her niece, Tiffany Webb. Providing music for the wedding was organist, Gloria Burks, and soloists, Anna Best, Valerie Webb, the bride’s sister, and Jerome Artis. The daughter of Ella Webb and the late Walter Lee Webb, the bride is a graduate of Johnson i - ; C. Smith University, where she received a B.S. in marketing. She also attended Atlanta University. Alio a graduate of JCSU, the groom is a senior, airman of the U.S. Air Force where he is presently stationed at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs Willie Rbett. The couple will reside in Columbia, S.C.
