J .Wallace who has found assurance that he’s lived up to this responsibili ty by noting the spiritual growth of -his congregation t Rev. Wallace has been the pastor N>f Macedonia Baptist Church for V -years.* And through the yean tinf* bis installment at Macedonia in 19QS, the church has acquired much in ft* -way of material growth. However, Wallace is more appreciative of his "‘wonderful” congregation that has - perservered through the struggles bnd have been cooperative and supportive” during his ministry. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m., immediately following the morning service. 2?-1-, At a 2:30 p.m. service, Rev David Cook, pastor of Liberty Hill Baptist 'i Church, Waxhaw, N.C., will be gniat preacher. He will be accompanied by his choirs and congregation. There will also be several other visiting choirs present at die cele bration. Under Rev. Wallace’s leadership, among other things, a new Macedo nia Church edifice was erected in 1003. Since that time the church has -also purchased a van for the trans portation of its elderly members; has begun operation of a community center; and has purchased four homes located in the vicinity of the -i-a enure!). ; “I thank "the Lord for all we’ve been able to accomplish,” com ments Rev.Wallace $And I still forsee greater heights we am attain.
