The BIDCO Partnership waa at
ganised in January, 1984. The
Partnership consisted of 20 part
ners. This group of persons was
willing to dream. They caught a
glimpse of a vision of moving the
mainstream of America's
my and thereby achieve finan
cial independence for all of its
partners. Projecting to bo a door
way to opportunity for thoaa who
are willing and not afraid of the
challenges of hard work to real
ise their highest dreams, the or
ganisation plans to create em
ployment opportunities for others
in the retail and manufacturing
segment of the economy. Real
estate investment is another area
that they will pursue. ‘s'

WSOC-TV, Channel 9 has con
cluded its "Cover With Love"
campaign with great success!
Since November 24, dtissns oat

burg County donated blankets,
time and love to the homeless and ‘
needy.
The Red Cross reported that
1,808 blankets were collected at
local fire departments outside of
Mecklenburg County.
The Crisis Assistance Ministry
reported over 2,000 blankets col
lected in Mecklenburg County.
Channel Vs "Cover With Love"
raised a total of 8,808 blankets or
4-1/2 tons. More importantly, by
the end of the campaign blankets
in Charlotte were being distribut
ed not on allotment, but by need)
