He also serves on the board of directors of Loaves and Fishes, Inc. and TLC Counsel ing. Recently appointed by Mayor ' Harvey Gantt to serve as a com missioner on the Charlotte Hous ing Authority, Rev. Davis is serving as Black Church Devel opment Specialist for the Baptist State Convention. Rev. Davis has established the Queen City Bible Institute, a ftilly accredited seminary extension center. He also established Phil lip Davis Ministries, Inc., a min istry designed to assist churches and other groups minister to ur ban families. Having recently completed a missionary tour to Be lice in Cen tral America, Rev. Davis can be heard every Friday at 2:15 p.m. on die popular WGSP AM talk show, "Let's Talk About It*.
