Rev. Weems Is a native of Atlan
ta, Georgia and a graduate of the
public schools there. She
earned her undergraduate de
gree from Wellesley College, her
Masters of Divinity from Prince
ton Theological Seminary and is
currently completing her Ph.D.
requirements in Old Testament
at Princeton.
Rev. Weems Is a trained econo
mist, has worked as a public ac
countant and as a stockbroker.
She Is also a freelance writer
with numerous articles appear
ing In several national publica
tions. Her most recent article,
"Bom Again', Is In the January,
1988 Issue of Essence Magazine.

The 1988 Southern Regional
Convention of Alpha Phi Alpha
Fraternity, Inc., will be held In
Charlotte at the Marriott City
Center. The convention will
commence on Thursday, March
24th and continue through, Sun
day, March 27th.

workshops at 9:45 a.m.
